Introduction
The latest 3.6L Twin Turbo T-Hybrid engine package as installed to Porsche's brand new 992.2 Turbo S is formidable in stock form however there is always room for improvements to be made, especially in the highly restrictive exhaust system.
Our direct replacement exhaust components not only save weight and improve sound they also deliver solid performance gains without compromise in a direct replacement part with perfect fit.
Light Weight
Through the use of light weight materials and clever design we have managed to significantly reduce the overall weight of the factory 992.2 Turbo S exhaust components. Removing weight full stop carries great benefits in any performance vehicle however the gains are exaggerated on this platform, reducing the rear biased weight distribution helps to improve overall balance and handling.
With only our Inconel Side Silencer Bypass (Valved) installed, we save a total of 9.00kg (19.84lbs) from the weight of the vehicle which represents a significant 53.19% reduction compared to the factory component.
Direct Replacement
All of the JCR 992.2 Turbo S exhaust components are direct replacement for their OEM equivalents with guaranteed fit every time. No requirement for any further work during install beyond removing the OEM part and replacing with its JCR equivalent and any supplied hardware.
Valve Function
Our 992.2 Turbo S Inconel Silencer Bypass section retains the factory valve switching function with 100% integration into the factory system, no coding and no requirement for any additional controllers.
3D Printed Tips
'3D printing' or DMLS / SLM / DMP as it's referred to is a technology which allows complex shapes which would have usually been reserved to casting or multi-axis machining to be created as one off parts without large investments into tooling. This technology is particularly helpful in applications where the geometry of a part required might be outside the normal scope of other manufacturing techniques available.
Whilst this isn't the first use of 3D Printed parts in JCR exhaust systems, our new 992.2 Turbo S product line certainly feature this production method more extensively to ensure the best possible flow characteristics and performance.
Improved Aesthetic
Thanks to our 3D Printed Tips, there's not only an improvement in flow characteristics versus the factory side silencers but we have also dramatically improved the aesthetic.
The factory side silencer features two small diameter tips plus a blanking plate. Not only do the small tips look lost in the factory Oval bumper trim but they also limit the overall flow.

In contrast, the JCR 3D Printed Tips optimise flow whilst filling the entire oval section making for a huge improvement in overall aesthetics from the rear of the car.
Heat Management
Through extensive On Track testing we determined that our 992.2 Turbo S Inconel Silencer Bypass required heat shielding to ensure long term durability and safety, therefore this product features the highest quality thermal protection as standard.
The Inconel 625 heat shielding we have selected is used in the very highest levels of Motorsport to control temperatures whilst protecting and dramatically reducing the effects of radiant heat into the surrounding areas.
Power Increase
Every component of the JCR Inconel Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve HP & TQ with varying results dependant on the combination of parts. Our most extreme free flowing system will see gains in the mid 40HP range on this platform along with great improvements in engine response along with a big boost in mid range torque.
